CPR Group Secures $5 million in Grant Funding for Australian Clubs

Do you want to make your grant applications shine to improve your community facilities?

At CPR Group, we know every little bit of funding helps. That’s why we are dedicated to working alongside Australian Councils and community organisations to make facilities better for our communities.

CPR Group is proud to be a part of helping Councils build their communities and assisting clubs to improve facilities for their members by securing grant funding. Our team of grant writing experts is committed to sharing the necessary skills to be prepared for future funding opportunities. In the last 12 months, CPR Group has assisted Councils and clubs to secure over $17 million in funding across Queensland.

Our team is always excited and up for the challenge to help community organisations plan and deliver new infrastructure, improve existing facilities and provide community based programs. These initiatives are vital in making our towns and places more liveable, helping our communities be healthier and happier.

CPR Group client successes

The Queensland Government’s Active Gameday Projects funding was recently announced, and we would like to congratulate our clients in Logan City that were successful in this round. The grants ranged from $55,500 to $150,000, resulting in a total of $800,000 for the clubs we supported. So, what does this mean for these clubs? The grant funds will go towards installing sport lights and upgrading playing surfaces, to installing irrigation systems and other critical items to make sport more accessible for the Logan community.
CPR Group would also like to congratulate the Twin Rivers Community Mallet Sports Club for their recent success in the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. The grant funds will go towards development of two new courts for the club, with a project totalling almost $150,000.

With CPR Group’s assistance, Moreton Bay Regional Council was successful in acquiring state and federal funding for the new Caboolture PCYC development with a combined $11.5 million project total. The new facility will achieve greater accessibility for the community for participation in a range of sports and activities including gymnastics, boxing, martial arts, outside school hours care and a kindergarten, all of which are planned to be incorporated in the new PCYC.

We also celebrated in the success of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s state government funding for the Albany Creek Skatepark ($1.2 million) and Morayfield Skatepark ($1.5 million) redevelopments.

Kawana Boardriders Club were recently awarded funding of $12,000 through the Gambling Community Benefit fund. This funding will allow the club to purchase much-needed marquees and a new generator, and to upgrade the club’s equipment.

How we help

There are two ways that CPR Group supports organisations to secure grant funding; through training in how to submit winning applications, and through grant preparation. We draw on over 25 years of expertise and knowledge working alongside Australian Councils, peak bodies, clubs and community organisations.

Grant Mastery training

Many organisations have the passion and commitment to deliver great projects, but don’t have anyone with grant writing experience in their team.

For groups like these, CPR Group regularly hosts training workshops and our participants are now regularly successful in acquiring grant funding through their own application expertise. Our upcoming Grant Mastery Certificate online short course still has a few spots remaining. Be prepared for your next grant opportunity by registering today!
