Funding Announcements
A $250 million funding initiative was announced by federal government at the end of last month that will help Councils deliver infrastructure and tourism projects.
The package is split into two funding streams:
$200 million for an additional round of the Building Better Regions Fund and;
$50 million for a Regional Tourism Recovery initiative to assist businesses in regions heavily reliant on international tourism.
The fifth round of the Building Better Regions Fund will be delivered like its previous four rounds, with Infrastructure Project and Community Investment streams.
