Disaster recovery and financial assistance for flooded clubs

If your club has been affected by the recent flooding in QLD or NSW, it may be eligible for disaster recovery grants and financial assistance. 

In Queensland:

Qld Government Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program

  • Must be an incorporated local or regional not-for-profit organisation with a primary objective relating to sport and active recreation

  • Must located in an DRFA Category A to C declared disaster affected area (depending on level of funding requested)

  • Level 1 (up to $5,000)

  • Level 2 (up to $20,000)

Qld Government Rural and Industry Development Authority

  • Must be a non-profit organisation located in the defined area for the eligible disaster and have suffered direct damage as a result of the eligible disaster

  • Up to $50,000

Contact your state sporting organisation and/or your club’s insurance provider to determine if you are eligible for any other financial assistance or insurance claims.
