Finances and Risk Management

Monday 17 April 2023, 6:30pm AEST

Like it or lump it, your club or association is a business. Yes, it’s a not-for-profit business, but a business nonetheless.

It is therefore imperative that you run the organisation as the business it is. This includes exercising sound financial and risk management.

Every management committee member, not just the treasurer, should have an understanding of your organisation’s accounts, financial reports, audit processes, risk management and legal obligations.

Good financial and risk management are amongst the most common factors that separate successful organisations from those struggling to grow, or even survive.

During this session, provided in partnership between Netball Queensland and CPR Group, we will present practical tips for streamlining and improving your financial management and risk management.
